Came in on a beautiful spring Sunday to sit on patio for lunch. Service is wonderful, the big tree out on the patio is shady and welcoming and the music and vibe is chill and a great spot for a Sunday lunch. The chicken wings are awesome, marinated and cooked to perfection with crispy skin. The sandwiches are on fresh ciabatta bread and the kettle potato chips are handmade and cooked crisp and crunchy! I had the mortadella and this took me back to my childhood lunch meat sandwiches with a new twist and tasty flair. Loved it! This is such a great spot in Andover with fresh and made from scratch tasty food with TVs to watch sport and just an all around awesome bar and bistro. We will be back!!

I just had lunch there today. The renovations to the old Rusty Rooster are tasteful and clean. At this time only the bar side is open with a menu of mostly sandwiches and salads. My mortadella sandwich was delicious and the Abode Water drink was tasty and refreshing. The “fine dining” side is scheduled to open April 18. I’m eager to try it.

I’ve been seeing a lot of hype for this place, so I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. I literally wanted to try the entire menu - it was such a hard decision. Opted for the smash burger & it did not disappoint. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was lovely. Cant want to return with friends & family for more food AND dranks.

Insane! The vibes of this place are great. I think they did an amazing job with this place! We ate on the bar side and it was delicious! The burgers and homemade bread was to die for! For the price you can not beat it and the drinks are great. The Abode water is my favorite. Definitely recommend.

Went yesterday for early dinner . Called and asked if our pup could join us at bar side of venue outdoors. Got a “of course “ Nice place when we sat down we were greeted by the pleasant aroma of a smoker, food cooking smoker :) and our server Logan !, ordered chips and salsa and a couple of beverages . Logan was awesome, the chips and salsa were really good , we had the mild version. Had the Smash burger it was great ! In fact everything was pretty great. Fun fact ...the smoker is there just for the aroma effect ! Going to bistro side next ..ask for Logan on the bar side ! Went back this past weekend, food was great the waitress was great , the overgrown grass and weeds , plus the “junk “ piled up to the right when you walk out to the patio . Such a great venue keep it clean and attractive. Just saying :)

Abode is an absolute culinary and atmospheric gem! The staff is friendly and inviting. The decor makes the entire place feel like home and extremely comfortable. Last but most certainly not least the food is absolutely incredible! The wings were crispy yet moist and full of flavor. The sandwiches are the perfect size and constructed using high quality ingredients and you can tell the difference. Their home made chips were irresistible and could potentially get me in trouble....but I welcome the challenge to finish them all cause they’re that damn good! Do yourself and others a favor and get in here and experience the best Bar and Bistro this area has seen in quite some time!

This place was beyond good! It's like nothing in Andover and I can not wait to go back! Split the smash burger with a friend and it was PHENOMENAL!!!! Ty Abode for having us amd ty for thinking of Andover for such an amazing dining experience!!!

We stopped in today for Mother’s Day. The ambiance was super cool. When you walk in, it’s more of a bar environment with high top tables and a few televisions as well as indoor/ outdoor dining. We chose to sit in the back area, which felt like you were transported to Santa Fe. We arrived shortly after they opened. It’s my understanding they had a special brunch menu for Mother’s Day. Service from Abbey was outstanding. She was very attentive and always checking up on us. We ordered the French Toast Brulee more as an appetizer to share and it was fabulous. I had the Cowboy Burrito, my wife had the Chile Pork Verde Bowl, and my mother in law had the Classic Breakfast. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. The serving sizes were very generous. In fact, we all took something home which made for a great dinner as well. If you haven’t tried Abode yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. This is going to be our new go to for sure.
